It’s taken Pinterest by storm, not to mention my Instagram feed.īut what exactly is it? How do you get started Bible journaling? Do you need to learn any special skills or have natural artistic talent? Where do you even get your Bible journaling ideas?īible journaling is all about reading and studying the Word in creative ways. So, maybe Martin Luther wouldn’t approve of the stickers, but Hendricks just might. His book, Living by the Book, explains how charts can help you find the author’s original intent in writing a passage. I blame veteran Bible study teacher Howard Hendricks. It is incredibly helpful for me to chart out what I see in a passage, so I can visualize the overall progression of a story, theme, or even a command. Making charts is actually a huge part of my Bible study process. So, to help ensure that these sticker books weren’t entirely superfluous to your study habits, I dreamed up a little line called “Chart Builder Stickers.”Īlong with brightly-colored icons and inspirational quotes (things you might find in other faith-based sticker sets), the Heart and Hive Sticker book includes colored headers and a variety of dotted lines to use for making charts in your notes. Just maybe Luther and the other reformers would see the need to bring beauty to one’s personal devotions with glossy and matte sticker paper.
